What are the requirements to use the RailsHoster deployment gem?
In order to use the RailsHoster deployment gem you need a few thins on your local system. However, in most this should already be given if you're a developer:
- Ruby
- Ruby gems
- Shell (e.g. Bash)
- SSH Shell
- Git
Currently the gem also assumes bundler to be used. Let us know if this is a problem for you.
The gem has ben tested in Linux, Unix, BSD and MacOS X
environments, so far.
It might not be possible to run the gem on Windows based
systems.
